We are Frank and Amanda, we’ve built our reputation on heritage decorating and restoration work, incorporating traditional skills and decorative arts into our service. We’re both passionate about preserving and recreating lost decorative art for future generations to enjoy, meticulously researching the history behind each design to gather as much information as we can for clients. Many forgotten artists highly skilled in their design work deserve to be remembered, and we aim to highlight them where we can.

The BIBA Fountain Panel

A limited edition art deco wall art panel, a meticulous recreation of an original design by walter Gilbert, Bromsgrove guild c.1933 for Derry & Toms Department store, which became the iconic fashion store Big biba in the 1970s. POA.

We take special commissions to recreate out-of-production designs from our own growing archive collection of vintage Lincrusta and Anaglypta designs c.1870s-1939.

ABOVE: a collaboration with Patience & Gough, Windermere, where Frank recreated this dado design from rare 1920s Parisian Lincrusta fragments in our collection. Photo 3 shows the original unpainted sample we have which retains all the intricate details of this decadent Art Deco design.
